Paediatric dentistry, or pedodontics, is a branch of dentistry that deals with treating children’s teeth, preventing jaw anomalies and diseases, and promoting health education – and, above all, with building trust between the dentist and the child. A paediatric dentist promotes oral and dental health in children and is also a source of information for parents.

One of the methods of preventing tooth decay in children is fissure sealing, which is done with composite materials. The procedure does not require drilling or removing any hard tooth tissue, so it is also pleasant for the child. This method has proven very successful in preventing tooth decay.
